Elfreda M. Krom

Elfreda M. Krom, age 80, of Warren, OH, died Monday, November 24, 2014, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren,OH. She was born May 8, 1934, in McMinnville, Tennessee, a daughter of Thomas R. and Susie (Peden) Caldwell. Formerly of Arizona and Tennessee, Mrs. Krom had been a resident of Mecca and Gillette Nursing Home. She was a homemaker; and she enjoyed oil painting and sewing. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Gillette Nursing Home and also the 5th floor nurses and aides at Trumbull Memorial Hospital for their excellent care. Mrs. Krom is survived by her son, Richard Krom of Tucson, AZ; her daughter, Vicki (Timothy) McPheron of Mecca, OH; her two grandsons, Michael McCoy of Germany,and Christopher McCoy of Mecca, OH; her sister, Juanita Brown of Clarksville, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Howard and Thomas; and four sisters, Vivian, Ioma, Marie, and Edith. Mrs. Krom will be cremated and a private memorial service held at a later date.
