Evalee Shingleton

Evalee Shingleton, age 85, of Cookeville, TN, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at the Cookeville Regional Hospital. She was born July 15, 1929, in Putnam County, Missouri, a daughter of Willie M. and Sylvia P. (Lewis) Pickett. A former resident of Andover, Mrs. Shingleton lived in Tennessee for the past several years. Mrs. Shingleton married William D. Shingleton on July 17,1947. He preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 1995. Also preceding her in death are her parents; a grandson, Zenon Sobkowiak; and her brother, Dale Pickett. She is survived by daughter, Debra L. Miller of Masontown, PA; daughter, Jerri L. (Don) Payne of Cookeville, TN; son, William Mikel (Kay) Shingleton of Ford City,PA; 14 Grandchildren; and many Great Grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 12:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St., Andover,OH. Burial will follow in Cherry Valley Cemetery.
