Warren, Ohio – Gordon H. Fenn, Jr., age 71, died on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 2, 1942 in Greenville, Pennsylvania a son of Blanche Mildred (Snyder) Grimes and Gordon Henry Fenn, Sr. Gordy was a 1960 graduate of Vernon High School. He served in the United States Navy and participated in the Cuba Missile Crisis. After his discharge from the service he worked for the former Copperweld Steel as a millwright for thirty-seven years, retiring in 2002. For the past ten year he was employed by Gander Mountain of Warren, until November 2013. Gordy was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was a member of the NRA and the Vienna Fish and Game Club where he enjoyed target and skeet shooting. Gordy is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Rudy Grimes. Survivors include two sons, Steven M. (Melinda) Fenn of Jamestown, Pennsylvania and Christopher E. (Amy) Fenn of Dover Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Joseph Malone, Amanda (Lucas) Shinkovich, Nicole & Kelly Fenn; a sister, Grace Bozmoff of Warren, Ohio and two brothers, Gary Fenn of Arden, Oklahoma and Harlan “Buzz” Fenn of Kinsman, Ohio A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 6:00PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Vienna Fish & Game Club, PO Box, 567, Vienna, OH 44473.
