Hollie Marie Gerzetich

Kinsman, Ohio – Hollie Marie Gerzetich, age 38, peacefully went to be with her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at her home, surrounded by her family, after a seven year battle with cancer. She was born on December 28, 1976 in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of Candace (Newman) and Robert Rossi. Hollie was a 1995 graduate of Joseph Badger High School, in Kinsman, Ohio and attended Bel-Rae Institute in Denver, Colorado for their Animal Technician program. She was a Veterinary Assistant for Greenville Veterinary Clinic. On August 21, 1999 she married Stephan A. Gerzetich. Hollie was a devoted wife & mother, who loved her Lord, attending Friday night bible studies at the Kinsman Missionary & Alliance Church, and sharing her faith with those she encountered through battle with cancer. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and she loved animals. Hollie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. Newman and Mr. & Mrs. Rossi. She is survived by her husband of almost sixteen years, Stephen A. Gerzetich, Jr. of Kinsman, Ohio; a daughter, Katerina Ann Gerzetich and son, Stephen A. Gerzetich, III, both of Kinsman, Ohio; her parents, Robert & Candace Rossi of Orangeville, Ohio; a sister, Christa (Matthew) Bennett of Kinsman, Ohio; grandma, Helen Rossi of Niles, Ohio and was a special aunt to her eight nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Hollie’s life will be held on Monday, May 25, 2015 at 6:00 pm at the Kinsman Christian Missionary & Alliance Church, 6590 State Route 87, Kinsman, Ohio, with Rev. Howard Darr officiating. Calling hours will be held from 4:00 pm until the time of services at 6:00 pm. Private burial will be held at Kinsman Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, OH 44512.
