Janice L. Monnolly

Janice L. Monnolly, age 78, of Andover, Ohio, died Thursday, October 30, 2014. She was born March 3, 1936, in Fairpoint, OH, a daughter of Harry and Doris (Cordner) Blacker. A resident of Andover since 1970, Mrs. Monnolly was formerly of Cleveland and was a graduate of Bellaire High School in Bellaire, OH. She was employed as a waitress at area Andover restaurants over the years; and was a member of the Percy D. Hyatt American Legion Auxiliary in Andover. She enjoyed cooking and was a loyal fan attending all of her grandchildrens' sporting events. Mrs. Monnolly is survived by her husband, Nicholas D. Monnolly, whom she married June 6, 1959, of Andover; a daughter, Christine (Gordon) Drnek of Andover; a son, Kenneth (Ann) Monnolly of Jefferson,OH; a son, Keith (Gidget) Monnolly of Richmond township, OH; a daughter, Kimberly Hunt of Andover; a son-in-law, Kenny Hunt; 11 Grandchildren, Nicole, Gordie Jr. (Annie), Tessa (Andy), Garrett, Sarah (Jimmy), Grace, Brooke, Hanna, Emily, McKenna, and Morgan; 4 Great Grandchildren, Natalie, Kinley, Collin, and Masen; two brothers, Dennis (Pat) Blacker of Delaware,OH, and Richard (Mary) Blacker of Neffs, OH; and two sisters, Marsha Driscoll of Neffs, OH, and Carolyn Conaway of Bridgeport,OH. She is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Elmore, John, Robert, and Lowell Blacker; and one sister, Geraldine Gorlitz. A memorial service celebrating Jan's life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church, 181 S. Main St., Andover, OH, with Pastor Jason Hockran officiating.
