Judy A. Goshorn

Judy A. Goshorn, age 71, of Andover, Ohio, died Saturday, August 13, 2016, at her home. She was born December 17, 1944, in Akron, OH, a daughter of Francis P. and Elenor E. (Stewart) Lorson. Judy was a 1962 graduate of St. Vincent High School in Akron; and she married James B. Goshorn on May 23, 1964. Formerly of Roaming Shores and Orwell, Judy had been a resident of Andover for the past thirteen years. She retired from Kennametal Inc. in Orwell in 2000 after fifteen years of service; and had also been employed at Key Bank in Orwell. Judy was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Andover where she was an active member in their Altar and Rosary Society. She was a talented seamstress, enjoyed cooking, and loved to decorate. Judy and Jim spent many winters in Florida where she belonged to a craft club and enjoyed volunteering at the Visiting Nurses Association in Sebastian, FL. Judy is survived by her husband of 52 years, James B. Goshorn of Andover; her daughter, Darlene (Ed) Puskas of Howland,OH; her two sons, J. Scott (Tina) Goshorn of New Lyme township, OH, and Christopher (Tamara) Goshorn of Windsor, OH; and her four grandchildren, Erin, Jim (Rachel), Amanda, and Ashley. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Joanie Waters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 481 S. Main St., Andover,OH. A private burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date.
