Kinsman, Ohio - Paul L. Mancini, age 64, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on June 2, 1950, in Warren, Ohio a son of Florence Estelle Swisher Rader and Anthony Michael Mancini, Sr. Formerly of Warren, Paul was a 1968 graduate of the former Warren Western Reserve High School. Paul served in the United States Navy from 1969 until 1973 on the USS John F. Kennedy Aircraft Carrier. On June 16, 1979, he married Sandra S. Barnes. In 1991 he moved his family to Kinsman and grew to love his new community. Paul was the owner and operator of Mancini's Auto Collision. He enjoyed contributing to the Kinsman sports programs and the community with donations to various projects. His favorite contribution was helping the Kinsman Police and Fire Departments with the annual Safety Forces Day. Paul enjoyed detailing the cruisers and providing musical entertainment and was grateful to receive a twenty year plaque in 2013. In June of this year Paul attended and contributed to Safety Forces Day despite having chemo and radiation treatments, feeling great satisfaction in being able to share the day with his community friends and family. Paul enjoyed playing darts and shooting pool with his son, son-in-law and brother-in-laws. He loved the competition and camaraderie. Paul was always there to help his family with home projects and cars. Over the past two years Paul loved to play with his grandson. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John C. Mancini. Survivors include his wife of thirty-five years, Sandra S. Mancini of Kinsman, Ohio; a daughter, Tara M. (Joshua) Upshire of Kinsman, Ohio; a son, Anthony J. (Brittany) Mancini of Austintown, Ohio; grandson, Treyson Upshire; a sister, Deborah K. Mancini of Niles, Ohio; a brother, A. Michael Mancini, Jr. of Warren, Ohio; four sister-in-laws, Dorsey (Tom) Solich, Carol (Jim) Howard, Sheryl (Ed) Eichenlaub and Sue Muha and brother-in-law, Terry (Doris) Barnes. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 20th from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to "Team Mancini" Relay for Life at Farmers National Bank or to Kinsman Township Police in c/o Safety Forces Day, PO Box 399, Kinsman, OH 44428.
