Ronald W. Kotnick

Ronald W. Kotnick, 68, of Conneaut, Ohio, formerly of Roaming Shores, Ohio, died at his home on November 16, 2014. He was born in Monroe Twp., Ohio to John and Grace (Reed) Kotnick on May 7, 1946. Ron was a Chemical Operator at Lubrizol Corp. in Painesville, Ohio for many years until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Shirley Kotnick on May 16, 2013. His survivors include: Daughters, Stephanie (Warren) Browning of Williamsfield, Ohio, and Heather (Kevin) Price of Rexburg, Idaho; Son, Brian Kotnick of Cheyenne, Wyoming; Step-Son, Michael (Kathy) Hartz of Middlefield, Ohio; Step-Daughters, Brenda (Glenn) Haist of Roaming Shores, Ohio and Rhonda (Jeff Haynes) Steen of Andover, Ohio; Brother, John (Nancy) Kotnick of Conneaut, Ohio; 19 Grandchildren; and 8 Great Grandchildren. Ron enjoyed golfing, woodworking, boating, playing pool, and was a champion ping-pong player. He especially enjoyed family and friends to the fullest, and held an annual 4th of July party for years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November, 22, 2014 from 11 until the time of services. Burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover, Ohio.
