Andover, Ohio Sandi Lee Smith, age 59, died at her home on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. She was born on February 7, 1955, in Greenville, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Esther Rose (Clark) and Orland Edward McGill, Jr. Sandi was a 1973 graduate of Joseph Badger High School and a graduate of Boheckers Business College. On September 14, 1974 she married Ray Jerome "Snuffy" Smith. She worked many years as the office manager for French's Inc. of Andover, Ohio. Sandi was elected to the Pymatuning Valley School Board, where she served as a member for over seventeen years. She loved to cook, sew and fuss over her flower beds. Sandi loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Snuffy of thirty-eight years and a sister, Karyn M. McGill. Survivors include her son Anthony O. (Michelle) Smith of Andover, Ohio; grandchildren, Katelyn, Garrett and Hunter; two sisters, Madolyn R. (Paul) Waite and Judy B. (Terry) Halt both of Kinsman, Ohio and a brother, Orland Edward (Tracy) McGill, III of Comanche, Oklahoma. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 11:00am at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio with John Annandono officiating.
