Terrance L. MacMichael, age 73, of Harpersfield township, OH, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at UH Geneva Hospital. He was born February 22, 1944, in Conneaut, OH, the son of Russell MacMichael and Evelyn (Swanson) MacMichael. A long time Harpersfield resident, Terry was a 1962 graduate of Ashtabula High School. He was employed as a bricklayer and as a carpet installer for 38 years. He retired from Lowe's in Mentor, Ohio. Terry was a long time member of the Geneva Lion's Club and served on the zoning board for Harpersfield township. He belonged to the Wing & Wine Group; was a Cleveland Indians fan; and enjoyed mowing his lawn, going grocery shopping, and fishing. Terry also loved to travel and enjoyed his trips with his wife to Scotland, Las Vegas, and Texas. Terry is survived by his wife, Arlene K. (Loftus) MacMichael, whom he married August 10, 1974; his son, Brad (Bridgett) MacMichael of Geneva,OH; his son, Eric (Fawn) MacMichael of Bellevue, OH; his daughter, Sara (Allen) MacMichael of Geneva,OH; and his 7 grandchildren, Seth, Nick, Grace, Cole, Kayla, Lea, and Carter. He is preceded in death by his parents. Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St., Andover,OH. A funeral service will start at 7:00 PM on Monday. A Celebration of Life will also be held on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Sonny Lanes Bowling and Grille, 696 Rt. 534, Geneva, OH.
