Margy Lou Powell

Warren, Ohio - Margy Lou Powell, age 87, died on Saturday, July 30, 2016 in Warren. She was born on December 12, 1928 in Kinsman, Ohio a daughter of Addye (Wall) and Walter D. Sutton. A 1946 graduate of Kinsman High School, Mrs. Powell worked for Delphi/Packard for over fifty-two years, retiring in 2001. Mrs. Powell enjoyed being outdoors and gardening, crocheting, riding and caring for horses, spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid NASCAR and Steelers Fan. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Laurence "George" Straub who died in 1958; second husband, Carlton "Bus" Powell who died in 1993; her daughter and husband, Georgia & Jim Eyler; her sister, Marie V. Miller and two brothers, Malry "Buck" Sutton and Merlin "Jim" Sutton. Survivors include her sister, Betty (Walt) Gruskiewicz of Williamsfield, Ohio; two granddaughters, Michelle L. (Joshua) Moran of Farmdale, Ohio and Pamela S. (Rob) McCrimmon of Kinsman, Ohio and five great grandchildren, David McCrimmon, Rhiannon Baldwin, Addison Moran, Joshua Moran and Mia Moran. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Kinsman Cemetery Chapel, Church Street, Kinsman, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Kinsman Patchwork Foundation or Hospice of the Valley. Arrangements handled by Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service of Kinsman, Ohio.
