Roberta A. Taggart

Roberta A. Taggart, age 72, of Dorset, OH, died Thursday, July 14, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, OH. She was born October 18, 1943, in Ashtabula,OH, a daughter of John E. and Annabelle (Ogram) Rose. A lifetime area resident, Roberta was a 1961 graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School. She was a homemaker; and her hobbies included sewing and camping. She enjoyed poetry and coloring in the adult coloring books. Roberta married Thomas R. Taggart, Jr. on February 26, 1982, and he preceded her in death on May 21, 2006. She is also preceded by her parents; two sons, David Lee Spieth and Larry Alan Spieth; and a brother, Gary L. Rose. She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Ann (Ken) Mracek of Richmond township, OH, and Lisa K. (William) Duhl of Rome, OH; her step son, Michael R. Taggart of Geneva, OH; two step grandsons, Michael and Cody Taggart; and her brother, Robert A. (Kiana) Rose of Grosse Pointe, MI. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH. A graveside service will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Dorset Cemetery, Marrian Rd., Dorset, OH. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
