Alice Evelyn Coon

Andover, Ohio - Alice Evelyn Coon, age 69, died on Friday, November 14, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on Sunday, January 28, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of Helen (Korosmaros) and Julius Fay. Alice married Gerald E. Coon on July 4, 1982. She loved to grow plants and flowers in her greenhouse for local folks to buy. Alice enjoyed making crafts and had a love for her cats and dogs. She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Marge; two brothers, Edward and John. Survivors include her husband of thirty-two years, Gerald E. Coon of Andover, Ohio; a daughter, Renae (Matt) Pace of Northfield, Ohio; a son, Richard (Shanna) Sroda of Village Mills, Texas; two sisters, Marian (Jerry) Parfitt of Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania and Eleanor Kiel of Parma, Ohio; two brothers, Bob (Jan) Fay of Jefferson, Ohio and Al (Marie) Fay of Deerfield, Ohio; three grandchildren, Kayla, Robert and Jamie and a great grandson, Landon. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio.
