Anne Marie Newcomb

Casselberry, Florida - Anne Marie Newcomb, age 83, died on Friday, April 26, 2019. She was born on July 7, 1935 in Lexington, Kentucky, a daughter of Ruth Ellen (Hill) and William “Ike” Henry Harper. Anne was a 1953 graduate of Andover High School. Formerly of Kinsman and Andover, Anne was a member of the Andover First United Methodist Church. Anne joined Mary Kay Cosmetics in 1980 and served as Executive Director for over twenty-five years. You could tell Anne was coming when you saw her Mary Kay “Pink” car headed your way. Anne is preceded in death by her first husband James Warren and by her second husband Ralph Newcomb. She helped build Newcomb Lumber & Sawmill of Andover along side her husband Ralph, where she worked for twenty-three years. In 1965 Anne started the present Wildwood Acres of Andover, and managed it for over ten years. Anne loved music and traveling. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed exercising. She is also preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Deborah R. Williford. Survivors include her two grandchildren, Anne Beryl Warren Williford and James Richard Williford, IV, both of Orlando, Florida; a sister Pamela J. West of Orlando, Florida; great granddaughter Laurie Anne Williford and nephews, Michael Larry and David West. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 2:00PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio.
