Arthur R. Hudnall

Arthur R. Hudnall, 77 years old, of Jefferson, OH, died on Saturday, January 15, 2005, in Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA. Mr. Hudnall was born on August 20, 1927, in Cedar Grove, WV, to the late Preston N. Hudnall and the late Irene E. (Cobb) Hudnall. Formerly of Cherry Valley Twp., Mr. Hudnall had lived in Jefferson since 1999. He was employed as a surveyor for the Alden E. Stilson Co. of Cleveland, Ohio, for over 30 years, retiring in 1990 due to disability. Mr. Hudnall was a 1945 graduate of East Bank High School in West Virginia and was a World War II Veteran having served in the United States Army. He married Laura L. (Kuhl) on May 11, 1954. Mr. Hudnall enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, reading and gardening. He was also an avid Cleveland Cavalier and Indians fan. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Hudnall was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Paul and Terry Hudnall; four sisters, Peggy Hudnall, Imogene Carte, Betty Ann Wilson, and Jackie Adkins; and a Grandson, Austin Dowdy. He is survived by his wife, Laura L. Hudnall of Jefferson, OH; his six sons, Thomas L. (Marie) Dowdy of Sarasota, FL; Keith A. (Bonnie) Hudnall of Parma; Jeffrey L. (Ruth) Hudnall of Andover, OH; Mark E. (Kelly) Hudnall of Andover, OH; Kevin R. (Sue) Hudnall of Cherry Valley, OH; and Scott P. (Beth) Hudnall of Indiana; his three daughters, Laurie A. (David) Berilla of Ashtabula, OH; Amy L. (Chad) Dunbar of Richmond, OH; and Amanda L. (Tim) Kelly of Andover, OH; his two brothers, Ken Hudnall of Sewickley, PA; and Robert Hudnall of Whitesville, WV; 15 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, at 11:00a.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, Ohio. Cremation will follow. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 18th from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. at the funeral home.
