Carol L. Mayborn White

Carol L. Mayborn White, 71 years old, of Kinsman, Ohio, died on Tuesday, April 27, 2004, in Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio. Carol was born on July 12, 1932, in Kinsman, Ohio, to the late Leolin L. Mayborn and the late Margaret Ellen (Patterson) Mayborn. A lifelong Kinsman resident, Mrs. White was a registered nurse working with the Visiting Nurses Association for over 25 years until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of the Kinsman United Methodist Church, the Hartford Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Kinsman Historical Society. She enjoyed traveling and her grandchildren. Carol married Richard W. White on December 1, 1952, and was preceded in death by him on June 2, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Goist, and her sister, Margaret "Peg" Chionchio. She is survived by her two sons, Michael R. White of Kinsman, Ohio, and Mark W. White of Kinsman, Ohio, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00a.m. on Friday, April 30, 2004, at the Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio. Burial will take place in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 29, 2004, from 5-8p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to: Kinsman Public Library.
