Eugene J. Latuk

Eugene J. Latuk, 75 yrs old, of Belleview, FL, died on Tuesday, December 16, 2003, at the Summerfield Suites of Hospice of Marion County, Florida. Mr. Latuk was born on September 14, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Andrew Latuk, Sr. and the late Mary (Koval) Latuk. A native of Cleveland and formerly of Andover, Mr. Latuk has lived in Florida since 1991. He was a member of the Harmonsburg Methodist Church in Harmonsburg, PA, and a member of Operating Engineers Local 66, Pittsburgh. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. Mr. Latuk married Charlotte (Shumaker) on June 14, 1969. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, George Latuk. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte A. Latuk of Belleview, FL; his three daughters, M. Dorie Latuk of Cleveland, OH; Linda L. Moening of Tempe, AZ; Barbara G. Boleratz of Andover, OH; his son, Jerry L Latuk of Kingsville, OH; two step daughters, Cheryl A. Paolucci of Nicholson, PA; Cynthia L. Swartzlager of Meadville, PA; his step son Jeffrey M. Stanford of Waterford, PA; his two brothers, Andrew Latuk of East Canton, OH; Alex Latuk of Lake Placid, FL; five grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; three step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2004, at 2:00p.m. at the Pierpont Presbyterian Church, 71 St. Rt. 7 S. Pierpont, Ohio, with Pastor Ed Diehl officiating. Burial of cremated remains will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover, at a later time.
