Frank Gene McGill

Frank Gene McGill, 82 years old, of Kinsman, Ohio, died on Sunday, December 26, 2004, at home. Frank was born on November 26, 1922, in Brookfield, Ohio, to the late Orland (Mac) McGill and the late Mary Virginia (Marshall) McGill. A life long Kinsman area resident, Mr. McGill owned and operated Frank McGill Heating and Roofing, Inc. for over 40 years before retiring. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, American Legion Post #506 in Kinsman, and Disabled American Veterans. Mr. McGill was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Josephine Pohl, and brothers, Orland (Ed) and Joseph McGill. He enjoyed watching Nascar, fishing, hunting, and going to auctions. He is survived by his wife, Susan Britton McGill of Kinsman, OH; his two daughters, Mary Virginia McGill of Greenville, PA; and Holly Marie (Damon) Staab of Williamsfield, OH; his three sons, Frank Orland McGill of Greenville, PA; John Joseph McGill of Jamestown, PA; and Samuel Gene McGill of Kinsman, OH; his foster daughter, Meredith Ann Keyes of Kinsman, OH; his foster son, Kevin Taylor Reed of Lordstown, OH; his three brothers, John Marshall McGill of Warren, OH, & Venice, FL; Charles L. McGill, Sr. of Kinsman, OH; and Roy J. McGill, Sr. of Kinsman, OH. A memorial service will be held at the Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio, on Friday, December 31, 2004, at 11:00a.m. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
