Gloria J. Taylor

On Aug. 19, 2004, Gloria J. Taylor left this world to be with the Lord and her mother in Heaven. This followed a period of illness. Born Jan. 23, 1929 at home to Adolph and Emma (Holocker) Holbrook. She raised three children and helped raise seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was a homemaker , but also worked at Jason's Restaurant in Solon and Pine Lake Trout Club in Chagrin Falls. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Wayne in Wayne Twp., Ohio. She married Wayne Taylor on Feb. 18, 1950 at the family home. She lived in Bainbridge, then Auburn and finally moved to Cherry Valley Twp., Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandsons, Chris and Christopher Cortez. She always had a house full of cats and love. In remembrance of her- Say a prayer, Live your life and remember to show those you love that you do. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 23, 2004 at 6:00 PM at the Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio. Calling hours will be on Monday from 4:00 until the time of services. Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Chagrin Falls on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2004 at 2:00 PM.
