John Pitts

John Pitts, 87 years old, of Kinsman, Ohio, died on Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at Meadowbrook Manor Nursing Home in Hartford, Ohio. John was born on November 21, 1916, in Erie, PA, to the late Ludwig Peck and the late Rozalia (Awseiko) Pech. A former long-time Erie resident, Mr. Pitts has lived in Kinsman since 1992. He was self employed as the owner and operator of a tavern and restaurant for many years. He was a U.S. Merchant Marine having served during World War II. Mr. Pitts was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Maxine (Hoydic), on April 8, 1996; his parents; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Kenny) Kidwell of Kinsman, Ohio; and his granddaughter, Maxine Kidwell of Kinsman, Ohio. Cremation will occur and there will be no services.
