Joshua L. Payton

Josh was a dedicated husband, father and all around proud family man. He left the world duller with his untimely death on February 12, 2024 at 46 years old. 

Son of Connie and Charles “Larry” Payton, he maintained lifetime bonds in his hometown and beyond. He was well respected in the community and his work, and never gave anything, certainly not his family, anything less than his all. 

Tenacious and always up for adventure, Josh shared his love of hunting and the outdoors with his daughter, Alaina. He was the beacon of strength and rock for his wife and family, whom he gave the world. He leaves behind the love of his life and his wife, whose child is the perfect manifestation of the best parts of both Josh and Teresa.  

He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Payton, and leaves a legacy of love and memories with wife, Teresa Payton; daughter, Alaina; father, Larry; siblings, Tree and Michael Payton. 

A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 1PM at St. Mary and St. Joseph Parish, 232 Seneca Ave. NE, Warren, OH 44428, with Fr. Christopher Cicero officiating.
