Mary R. Kuyon, 90 years old, of Andover, Ohio, died on Thursday, December 23, 2004, at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, PA. She was born December 8, 1914, in Keiser, PA, to Lewis and Margaret (Toth) Horvath. Beloved wife of Steve W. Kuyon, Sr., deceased; dear sister of Margaret DeCurtis of Cleveland, OH; and Betty Fhiaras of Parma, OH, and an infant brother, Lewis Horvath, deceased; dear mother of Betty Hurlbert of Andover, OH, Sandra Stillman of Robertsdale, AL, and Steve Kuyon, Jr. of Girard, PA; loving grandmother of Richard Thieret of Cortland, OH, and Ronald Thieret of Bethesda, MD; and great grandmother of Danielle and Bryana Thieret of Bethesda, MD, and step-great grandson, Kevin Winkler of Cortland, OH. Mary was quite a chef and enjoyed cooking and creating fantastic meals that became a major part of her family and life. Mary also aided in operating a self-employed home maintenance business in the early years with her husband in Bedford, OH. Mary then retired in the mid-1970's to Andover. She also enjoyed flowers, ceramics, cake decorating, knitting, and traveling. She was an avid Catholic and member of Our Lady of Victory Church in Andover. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at 11:00a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church, 481 South Main Street, Andover, OH, with Father David Misbrener officiating. Burial will follow in Williamsfield Center Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday, December 27th from 5p.m. to 8p.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio.
