Ransell O. "JR" Miller, Jr., age 74, of Kinsman, OH, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 10, 1944, in Reader, WV, a son of Ransell O. Miller, Sr. and Virginia Irene (Butcher) Miller. Formerly of Mesopotamia, JR has been a resident of Kinsman since 1972. In 2014, following a 40 year dream, he and his wife moved to Juno, Alaska for 26 months. He was a 1963 graduate of Valley High School in Pine Grove, WV; and was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He was employed by the GM Fabricating Plant in Lordstown, retiring in 2000 after serving 30 years. JR was a member of the Rock of Grace Family Ministries Church in Kinsman; a member of the Harry Lees American Legion Post #506 in Kinsman; and a 30 year member of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon Family Groups. He was an avid outdoorsman having enjoyed hunting and fishing. JR is survived by his wife, Jeanie K. (Henninger) Miller of Kinsman, whom he married May 29, 1982; his son, Ransell O. "Randy" Miller III of Vernon township, OH; daughter, Angela R. (Bill) List of Cherry Valley township,OH; daughter, Shannon L. (David) Knowles of Kinsman; son, David M. (Amanda) Lee of South Bloomfield,OH; son, Brian M. (Annie) Lee of Romeoville, IL; one brother, Harold Miller of Jacksonburg, WV; two sisters, Helen Coen of Tyler County, WV, and Judy Smith of Middleburg, FL; his 13 grandchildren, Holly Miller, Heather Miller, Jessica Miller, Nathan Fogle, Elissia Covell, Samantha Grigg, Christopher Lee, Arielle Sokolowski, Trinity Lee, Abel Lee, Cody Brown, Alexander Lee, and Breann Lee; and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter-in-law, Rigel Lee. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at 6:30 PM at Rock of Grace Church, 6745 St. Rt. 5, Kinsman,OH, with Pastor Mark Biel officiating. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to A.A.
