Raymond L. Kellogg, 85 years old, of Jefferson, Ohio, died on Friday, July 30, 2004, in Jefferson Geriatric Center, Jefferson, Ohio. Raymond was born on May 11, 1919, in Richmond Twp., Ohio, to the late Roy A. Kellogg and the late Hattie E. (Morrison) Kellogg. Mr. Kellogg was a lifetime Ashtabula County resident living in Dorset, Richmond, and Jefferson. He married Nina E. Bittikofer on February 18, 1948. He served in the United States Marine Corp, 5th division, during World War II on the island of Iwo Jima. He worked in the maintenance dept. at Champion International for 20 years, retiring in 1985. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Laura Mae Kellogg, and granddaughter, Alice Burns, both in infancy, and a grandson, Kenny Burns. He is survived by his wife, Nina E. Kellogg of Jefferson, OH; his four daughters, Marilyn Cauldwell of Springhill, FL; Carole (Mike) Burlingame of Jefferson, OH; June Keesler of Geneva, OH; and Linda (Rick) Riggleman of Jefferson, OH; his three sons, Robert (Linda) Kellogg of Albion, PA; Ronald (Laura) Kellogg of Ashtabula, OH; and William (Margaret) Kellogg of Ashtabula, OH; 20 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 2, 2004, at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover.
