Stephen "Dirt" R. Westerman

Stephen R. "Dirt" Westerman, 25 years old, of Warren, Ohio, born October 24, 1979, in Greenville, PA, to Stephen R. Welker and Susan Westerman, was taken from his family and friends suddenly on Monday, December 20, 2004, due to an unfortunate work related accident. He was employed by Rose Run Drilling. Formerly of Kinsman, Stephen attended Joseph Badger High School. He had a loud, colorful, whole hearted personality and believed in living life to the fullest. He would try anything once and feared nothing. He loved spending time with his family and friends, going fishing, playing pool, and working on cars. He was also a loyal Cleveland Browns fan (even this season!). He will be greatly missed and always loved by those who knew him. Stephen is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bill Welker and Ernest Scavincky. He is survived by his 5 month old son, Hayden Todd and fiance, Mary Wiltrout, both of Warren, OH; his parents, Steve and Sue of Kinsman, OH; six brothers, Jay (Joseph) of Kinsman, OH; Jed of Columbus, OH; Jeremiah of Pittsburgh, PA; John, Warren, OH; Michael of Guntersville, AL; and James of Kinsman, OH; two sisters, Annemarie Groover of Williamsfield, OH; and Mary of Kinsman, OH; grandmother, Mary Welker of Williamsfield, OH; and grandmother, Margaret Scavincky of Hillsboro, MO; four nephews, Joseph III, Wayne, Jr., Jeremiah, Jr, and John Jr., and many, many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 27, 2004, at 11:00a.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio, with Rev. Julie Hanneman officiating. Cremation will follow services. Calling hours will be on Sunday, December 26, 2004, from 2-4p.m. and 6-8p.m. at the funeral home.
